The best trail ride I've ever done was somewhere around Rotorua. I've done a bunch of rides around the Taupo and Rotorua areas, and only went to this particular one once and I have no idea where it was unfortunately.

Awesome video, Epic events hosted some awesome rides 15-20 years ago with Desert Storm and Suzuki Sand Blast. The new owners of Epic events have elevated Berm Buster to another level. Riding paradise that could only be elevated by allowing camping like Desert Storm and Suzuki Sand Blaster had but there is simply not enough splace.

Berm Buster 2020 (first one after lockdown) was my first ever trail ride having just started riding dirt bikes by that stage. To say it was a baptism by fire would be a bit of an understatement. Heard there were over 1000 bikes there that weekend alone, and was an experience I’ll never forget!

I don’t really ride trails that often more of a mx person but there’s not many great mx tracks in the South Island… anyone got any recommendations?

i ride a yz125 and go to nearly every berm buster they're some of the best trails in nz

Being new to riding. About 2 years. It was one of the first long trail rides. And man. It is truly the best ever!!!! Even tho I fell off my bike at top speed and couldn’t walk for a week. HahahahahA. MY skill set not the track.

Ay just by seeing the video i want to be there, i am from France and these types of events are rare if not never been done before here and i would be lying if i say that i don't envy you. Just by seeing this video the rider in me wants to be there with y'all. I really think that Berm Buster is now added in my check-list of motocross things i want to do at least once in my life.

Been to NZ with 11 friends/3 cars...roud trip for almost 3 weeks......now I wanna go back, for at least a month/island. Are those funny minibus-campers with lots of colours still available? If Yes - starting to save for my 40'th birthday trip :D

Hey guys! I have watched a bunch of videos of this race. Yes I am from America USA. Yes it is gorgeous. I’m an old GNCC guy. The best I could come up with for the camera dilemma is that the rule had nothing to do with safety. Safety was the excuse used because who can argue with safety. My own theory is that if you run a helmet camera and have your very own footage to put on UA-cam, then you personally can make money from a race. The they,(safety police) can’t allow that!
